The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture of power supplies equipment and systems. At first, its market primarily consisted of industrial areas (instrumentation, logic controls, automation systems, PLCs, machinery, etc.), but later expanded to include other fields: communications, industrial computing, rail industry, power, and alternative energy sources. The company has a registered office located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in Barcelona, Spain. In 1972, the parent company started developing power supplies for industrial use. In 1981, this company decided to split off the Power Supply Department, founding PREMIUM S. A., and transferring all know-how, technology and models available at that time to the new organization. Its shares were later sold to the current shareholders. Consequently, the company has a cumulative experience of more than 30 years in the field of power conversion.
