The company is engaged in the production and marketing of chemicals for a range of industries including leather and textile. Its business was incorporated in April of 1965. The company has a registered office based in L'Hospitalet De Llobregat, Spain. The company is one of the top three global suppliers of intermediate products. It operates in three divisions namely: inorganics, which offers a range of products consisting of basic compounds and commodities include ammonia, methanol, sodium hydroxide, chlorine, sulfuric acid and nitric acid for specific industries such as pharmaceuticals and electronics; petrochemicals, with its wide range of basic chemical products such as ethylene, propylene, butadiene and benzene, produced in steam crackers from naphtha or natural gas; and intermediates, which develops, produces and markets a complete range of intermediate products include amines, polyols, acids and specialties that are used as raw materials for coatings, plastics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, products for crop protection, detergents and cleaners. The company's petrochemical division also caters to processing and producing of alcohols, solvents and plasticizers, acrylic acid and acrylates, as well as Aquileno oxides and glycols which are raw materials used in textiles, automobiles, detergents and packing. The company is active and operational in Asia, North America and throughout Europe.
