This company is a multinational group that is engaged in the perfumery, cosmetics and fashion sectors. At present, its products are distributed in over 150 countries via a network of 40 subsidiaries. The Barcelona, Spain-based company was incorporated in September 1999. It is one of the main manufacturers and distributors of perfumes, cosmetics and luxury goods in Spain. The company was founded in 1914 by Antonio Puig Castelle. From its very beginnings it was dedicated to the sector of perfumery and cosmetics, but it was not until 1922 that it launched a product made by the company itself. This product was Milady, and it had the added distinction of being the first lipstick to be made in Spain. It operates in three divisions defined by business area: Fragrances & Personal Care, which includes Antonio Puig, Myrurgia and Gal; Prestige Beauty Brands like Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne and Payot; and its Fashion division which includes Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne and Carolina Herrera. It has nine production plants for perfumery and cosmetics, of which seven are located in Europe and two in Mexico.
